Heddersdorf is a district of the Kirchheim community in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district in eastern Hesse .

Geographical location

NHN . The independent town, which belonged to the district of Hersfeld until the regional reform in 1972 and is now part of the greater municipality of Kirchheim, can be reached after 2 km via the federal road 454 , which leads from Kirchheim to Oberaula .

In the middle of the village, a lane on the B 454 leads left into the center of the village to the new village community center with a bike café and on to the old school. In the center of the village, next to a stately oak tree, is the newly created playground. The well-developed Waldhessen cycle path R11 runs parallel to the B 454 and connects the district of Hersfeld-Rotenburg with the Schwalm-Eder district .
