Heikausen is one of a total of 106 localities in the Reichshof municipality in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

Heikhausen is to the west of the Wiehltalsperre , the closest centers are Gummersbach (24 km northwest), Cologne (61 km west) and Siegen (45 km southeast).

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1425. "Rorich van Haikshusen is mentioned in a sealed letter from the bailiff of Neustadt."
