Eiershagen , a hamlet , is one of 106 localities in the Reichshof municipality in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

Eiershagen is located west of Denklingen , the nearest centers are Gummersbach (20 km northwest), Cologne (50 km west) and Siegen (34 km southeast).

history

First mention

In 1467 the place was mentioned for the first time in a document, namely "Eißhain is mentioned when passing the border".

Since the municipal reorganization in 1969, Eiershagen has been part of the Reichshof municipality.

Events

  • Every autumn there is a village action day dedicated to the “Day of the Regions”. Aspects of agriculture and forestry, handicrafts, art and nature are highlighted. The special thing is that the stalls are set up in the gardens and barns of the residents, creating a family atmosphere.
  • Every year a driving tournament of the Fahrsportfreunde Reichshof-Eiershagen takes place here.
