Ösingen (according to the place-name sign and street signs Oesingen ) is one of 106 localities in the Reichshof community in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

The place is located south of the Wiehltalsperre , the closest centers are Gummersbach (15 km northwest), Cologne (64 km west) and Siegen (39 km southeast).

In 1575 the place was mentioned for the first time in a document: "Alof and Gerhart van Oesingen are among the witnesses when circumventing the border."
