Allenbach is located west of Eckenhagen , the closest centers are Gummersbach (10 km northwest), Cologne (54 km west) and Siegen (46 km southeast).

Reichshof-Allenbach is connected to the motorway network through motorway access 26 of the A 4 . The bus lines 348 (Derschlag-Dieringhausen) and 303 (Gummersbach-Waldbröl) run by the Oberbergische Verkehrsgesellschaft through the village.
