Hahnenseifen is one of 106 localities in the Reichshof municipality in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Cologne in Germany .

Location and description

Hahnenseifen is located northeast of the Wiehltalsperre , the closest centers are Gummersbach (27.5 km northwest), Cologne (64 km west) and Siegen (36 km southeast). In Hahnenseifen there is a riding facility (Gut Hahnenseifen) with two riding halls and an outdoor riding arena. Since 2012, the horse healer Tamme Hanken († 2016), known as the “ bone breaker ”, has been coming to Hahnenseifen regularly for collection appointments.
