The Heineberg nature reserve is a 21 hectare nature reserve in the Lower Saxony district of Hameln-Pyrmont in the Weserbergland Schaumburg-Hameln nature park .

The nature reserve is located southeast of the center of Fischbeck , a district of Hessisch Oldendorf . It is registered with the Lower Saxony State Agency for Water Management, Coastal Protection and Nature Conservation (NLWKN) under the number NSG HA 020. With an ordinance of November 8, 1949, the Heineberg nature reserve was declared a nature reserve. The Hameln-Pyrmont district is responsible as the lower nature conservation authority.

The Heineberg is a former impact slope of the Weser ; through them the area was shaped geologically. Characteristic for the area is an old oak slope forest , which indicates old settlement structures. On the hilltop are the remains of the Heineburg , which could have been a small aristocratic residence or a refuge from the 10th to 12th centuries.
