This sortable list contains all nature reserves in Lower Saxony .

As of December 31, 2009, there were 774 nature reserves, which covered an area of ​​253,299 ha. This corresponds to about 4.78% of the country's area including the 12 nautical mile zone . In addition, there were two national parks and a biosphere reserve , which increased the area share (including the 12 nautical mile zone) to a total of 11.38%.
