The Vechte Altarm Kalle is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Hoogstede in the integrated municipality of Emlichheim in the county of Bentheim .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG WE 053 is 5 hectares in size. It is located north-west of Hoogstede and protects an oxbow lake of the Vechte and the adjacent areas. The oxbow lake is around 400 meters long and cut off from the course of the river. He is from silting sgesellschaften and remains of former floodplain forest dominated.

The area has been a nature reserve since July 1, 1977. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the county of Bentheim.
