The Döhler Wehe is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon community of Großenkneten in the Oldenburg district .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG WE 299 is almost 70  hectares . It is congruent with the FFH area of the same name . To the north it borders on the landscape protection area "Hegeler Wald, Döhler Wehe, Kahleberg, Scharpenberg", which has been replaced by the Nature Conservation Ordinance. The area has been under nature protection since January 13, 2018. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Oldenburg.

The nature reserve is located north of Großenkneten, roughly between the districts of Huntlosen and Döhlen within the Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park . It places a near-natural mixed oak and beech forest on sandy locations under protection. The forest communities are formed by grove -beech forests and star chickweed-oak-hornbeam forests . They have a high proportion of waste wood and dead wood . The area is mainly surrounded by tree hedges .

In the south of the nature reserve, the Sieke runs as a near-natural Geestbach with near-natural bank vegetation.

The forest, which is crossed by several forest roads, is also used for local recreation . In the north it borders on wooded areas of the Hegeler Forest , otherwise it is mainly surrounded by agricultural land . In the west and east, the forest area borders on public roads.
