The Holler and Wittemoor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Hude in the Oldenburg district and Berne in the Wesermarsch district .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG WE 093 is around 377 hectares in total  . It consists of the 195 hectare “Holler Moor” in the Oldenburg district and the 182 hectare “Wittemoor” in the Wesermarsch district. The area has been a nature reserve since December 17, 1988. In him was in 1978 declared nature reserve "Holler Moor" and also reported in 1978 are the conservation area "Holler- and Witte Moor" risen. The responsible lower nature conservation authorities are the districts of Oldenburg and Wesermarsch.

The raised bog area is located northwest of Hude on the edge of the Delmenhorster Geest in the transition area to the Wesermarsch and is a remnant of a former, extensive raised bog that has largely been destroyed and disappeared through drainage and peat removal . Parts of the protected Moores was in the 1980s rewetted can, so it regenerate. Typical peatland plants such as peat moss and cotton grass settle here again . Parts of the nature reserve are occupied by moor forest or used as grassland for agriculture.

The Geestrandgraben runs through the area in the south and flows into the Berne north of Hude . The grassland areas in the north of the nature reserve are drained via ditches to the Holler Moorkanal and Wittenmoortief, which in turn drain to the Hunte.

Two circular routes run through the nature reserve, along which there is a lookout tower and a show peat engraving. In the south of the protected area there is a reconstructed section of a boardwalk .
