The Langebrügger Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon community Lüder and stains Bad Bodenteich in the Samtgemeinde Aue in the Uelzen district .
The nature reserve with the registration number NSG LÜ 354 is approximately 72 hectares . It is congruent with the FFH area "Kammmolch-Biotop northeast of Langenbrügge". The area has been under nature protection since April 16, 2019. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Uelzen.
The nature reserve is located southeast of Bad Bodenteich. It consists of a partially dewatered fen area formed by the silting has emerged of a lake. The moored areas are characterized by transitional and swinging grass bogs with sedge and cotton grass beds.
By peat cutting natural pond incurred in several places. In parts of the lowland area, moor and swamp forests are growing . There are also extensively used grassland areas , but also fields . Parts of the area lie fallow and are occupied by swamps , vineyards and reed beds . Geest slopes connect to the northeast. Mostly pine forests grow here . Due to soil degradation, nutrient-poor standing water has also arisen in the edge areas of the nature reserve. Knotweed spawn , common pennywort and onion rush settle here . Round-leaved sundew , comb fern , rhinoceros , marsh bear moss and pygmy hedgehog also occur in the nature reserve .
The area is an important amphibian habitat, among other things, great crested newt , moor frog , spadefoot , natterjack toad , common toad , tree frog and pool frogs . In addition, numerous dragonflies and bird species live here - including the crane . The nature reserve is also intended to develop as a walking corridor for the otter .
