The Wettenbosteler Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon communities Wriedel and Hanstedt in bevensen-ebstorf in the Uelzen district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 034 is 12.8  hectares in size. It is located at the foot of the Wendberge in the south of the Süsing , a wooded area in the Lüneburg Heath, and protects a flat remnant of a formerly extensive raised bog in the valley of the Oechtringer Bach. The moor is a spring moor with several decussed spring areas, which is surrounded by pine forest . The forest areas in the south of the nature reserve are used for forestry.

The moor is characterized by pipe grasses and peat moss . But cotton grasses , cranberries and crowberries can also be found.

The area is drained via Oechtringer Bach, Schwinau and Gerdau to Ilmenau .

The area has been a nature reserve since March 2, 1977. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Uelzen.
