The Stemmbruch is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony community of Stelle in the Harburg district .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG LÜ 042 is 56  hectares in size. It is located east of mesh and west of site between the used by freight railway line between the Maschen marshalling yard and Buchholz in der Nordheide and the A 39 . The A 39 cuts through the nature reserve in the northeast.

It provides a slope Quellmoor on a Geest back on the edge of Seeve lowland under protection in the Moorkolke , moorland and birch and alder forest can be found.

The area drains via the Kohlenbach to the Ashauser Mühlenbach , a tributary of the Seeve .

The area has been a nature reserve since October 17, 1989. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Harburg.
