The Hohe Holz is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Radbruch in the district of Lüneburg and the city of Winsen (Luhe) in the district of Harburg .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 251 is 252  hectares in size. Of this, 245.5 hectares are in the Lüneburg district and 6.5 hectares in the Harburg district. The nature reserve is completely part of the FFH area "Water system of the Luhe and lower Neetze".

The nature reserve is located southeast of Winsen (Luhe) and west of Radbruch in the north of the Radbruchforest. It places a forest area under protection, which is characterized in particular by alder , ash and oak-beech forests . There are also some conifer stands . Several grassland areas are embedded in the forest area . Parts of the forest area are managed as natural forest, while others are designated as special biotopes, in which the maintenance and in some cases also the use has been or is to be given up.

The area has been a nature reserve since December 16, 2001. Responsible lower nature conservation authorities are the districts of Harburg and Lüneburg.
