Large moor and floodplain near Wistedt is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Tostedt , Wistedt , Dohren and Heidenau in the Tostedt municipality in the Harburg district .

General

The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 032 is around 211 hectares. An approximately 157 hectare large part of the nature reserve was designated on September 16, 1976 as the nature reserve "Großes Moor bei Wistedt". This area was almost congruent with the FFH area of the same name and was completely part of the EU bird sanctuary "Moore bei Sittensen". The nature reserve, which consists of two parts, is located west of Tostedt. It places a raised bog area and areas in the floodplain under protection.
