A small nature reserve south of Düdenbüttel in the district of Stade is called Kuhlstückmoor . It is a raised moor area of 16  hectares , which is located on the Stade Geestrücken .

In the past, the Kuhlstückemoor was largely drained and deeply cooled by hand peat digging. Today a birch forest is growing there , in the middle of which there is an open, wet area on which large stocks of peat moss and cranberries grow. In order to preserve these remains of the original raised bog vegetation, a decuss was carried out there in the 1980s . The nature reserve bears the official registration number NSG LÜ 130.
