The Kahle und Wilde Moor is a nature reserve in the Harsefeld area and in the Ahlerstedt municipality in the Harsefeld municipality in the Stade district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 310 is around 94  hectares in size. For the most part, it is part of the FFH area “Braken”. To the north-west and south-east it borders on the nature reserve “ Braken and Harselah ”, to which it belonged before it was designated as an independent nature reserve. The area has been designated as an independent nature reserve since February 17, 2017. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Stade.

The nature reserve is located south of Harsefeld in an approximately 500 meter wide strip between the “ Braken ” and “Harselah” forest areas . It places a drained raised bog under protection, which in the past was partially dismantled by peat digging . Large areas of the area are characterized by bog forest with pine and birch. The forests have a high proportion of old and dead wood . Between the forest parcels there are grassland parcels that are only used sporadically. Typical moor vegetation is only found in small areas in more humid locations. Cotton grass and peat moss, round-leaved and medium sundew as well as white schnabelried settle here . You can also find rosemary heather and cranberries in the nature reserve . A ditch runs through the moorland that drains the area to the ram .

The area is bounded to the southeast by the county road 79 and to the northwest for the most part by a public road.
