The moor near Revenahe is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon communities Sauensiek and Beckdorf in the combined community of Apensen in the Stade district . The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 096 is 32 hectares in size. The nature reserve, which consists of two partial areas, is located east of Revenahe and Kammerbusch . It turns bog rest areas under protection, drained and Handtorfstiche are changed. Both areas are predominantly forested with birch trees . The peat cuttings are slowly silting up. Here, raised bog vegetation can regenerate.
In the sub-area to the south, a route running through the area is kept free of wood by high-voltage lines , which means that raised bog vegetation can be preserved or developed again.
Both partial areas are drained to the ram , a tributary of the Oste .
The area has been a nature reserve since June 16, 1984. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Stade.
