The Oederquarter Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Oederquart in the joint municipality of Nordkehdingen in the district of Stade and Osten in the joint municipality of Hemmoor in the district of Cuxhaven .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 131 is 85  hectares . Of this, 73 hectares are in the Stade district and 12 hectares in the Cuxhaven district. The nature reserve is almost entirely part of the FFH area of the same name .

The nature reserve is located west of Wischhafen . It comprises parts of an upland moor area, the moor areas of which are mostly cultivated as grassland and used as meadow or pasture . In between there are uncultivated remains of bog with typical bog vegetation. Birch bog forest can be found in the more drained areas .

The area is drained via various ditches to the Wischhafener Moorkanal and the Herrenfleth. The Wischhafener Moorkanal drains into the Wischhafener Süderelbe, a tributary of the Elbe , the Herrenfleth into the Oste .

The area has been a nature reserve since December 19, 1985. The responsible lower nature conservation authorities are the districts of Stade and Cuxhaven.
