The Kuhlmoor and deep bog is a nature reserve in the town of Hagen in Bremen in the district of Cuxhaven .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 292 is 46  hectares in size. It is almost congruent with the FFH area "Kuhlmoor, Tiefenmoor".

The nature reserve is located southwest of Lehnstedt in the transition area from the Wesermarsch to the Hagen-Bokeler- Geest . In the east it borders on the federal motorway 27 and places a more or less heavily drained fen area under protection.

The protected area is characterized by birch and pine forests, in which clearings with wet bushes, reed beds and nutrient-poor swamps are interspersed. On the areas that rise towards the Geest, predominantly coniferous forests with a high proportion of pine grow. In places, areas have been cultivated as grassland . The moorland is to be renatured by rewetting .

The area has been under nature protection since August 24, 2012. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Cuxhaven.
