The Ringstedter See is a nature reserve in the village of Ringstedt in the Lower Saxon town of Geestland in the Cuxhaven district .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 076 is 32 hectares in size. It is located west of Ringstedt between the Elbe-Weser shipping route and the Geeste and protects a now silted-up Niedermoorsee lake and the surrounding bank areas. Blänken can be found in the reserve as remains of the lake. The nature reserve is characterized by wide reed beds and vibrating turf , in the peripheral areas there are also more or less extensively used grassland areas .
The area has been a nature reserve since May 1, 1981. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Cuxhaven.
