Bülter See and Randmoore is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Loxstedt and Schiffdorf and in the municipality of Beverstedt in the district of Cuxhaven .

The nature reserve is 379  hectares . It is part of the FFH area “Silbersee, Laaschmoor, Bülter See and Bülter Moor”. A few hundred meters northeast of the nature reserve joins the nature reserve “ Silbersee and Laaschmoor ”. The area has been a nature reserve since September 17, 2010. In the nature reserve, the 368 hectare large and almost congruent former nature reserve "Bülter See and Randmoore" with the NSG LÜ 050 label, which was designated in November 1982, has merged. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Cuxhaven, which manages the nature reserve under the registration number NSG CUX-003.

The nature reserve is located northeast of Heerstedt . It includes the dystrophic Bülter See in the center and the surrounding high moor areas of the Great Moor, Seemoor, Bülter Moor, Flittereschmoor, Black Moor and Trumbargsmoor or parts thereof. The bog areas were drained and peat digs until the middle of the 20th century . The surfaces were dug up today mostly with birch and pine trees planted on less drained areas are birch and pine swamp forests to find. In the unforested areas, moor paths such as moorland heather predominate. The moor areas are to be renatured by rewetting . Parts of the moorland, especially west of the Bülter See, are cultivated as grassland and are mainly used as pasture .

The moor areas are drained in the northeast via the Rohr, in the south via the Loher Bach and in the west via the Stinstedter Bach to the Lune .
