The Ahlershorst is a nature reserve in the village of Drangstedt in the Lower Saxony city ​​of Geestland in the district of Cuxhaven .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 123 is 15  hectares in size. A 4.5 hectare part of the forest was designated as a natural forest reserve in 1999 . The area has been a nature reserve since August 2, 1985. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Cuxhaven.

The nature reserve is located east of Drangstedt and provides protection for a mixed beech forest (with grass-beech forest, willow-beech forest and beech-oak forest). The area is divided into two zones. In zone 1, in the southwest and to the north - here it is by the still of heritage railways used railway Bremerhaven-Bederkesa separated from the reserve - the reserve is located, to the forest can develop undisturbed natural. In Zone 2 in the rest of the nature reserve, the focus is on the maintenance and development of a near-natural oak-beech forest.
