The wild moor near Stinstedt is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Stinstedt in the joint municipality of Börde Lamstedt in the district of Cuxhaven .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 101 is 57 hectares in size. It is located northwest of Stinstedt and protects a predominantly uncultivated remnant of the wild moor. The raised bog area is drained and partially changed by peat extraction. Some areas have been cultivated as grassland that is used for agriculture. Pressure water from the slope flows into the area from the east.
The moorland drains through various ditches into the Stinstedter Randkanal, which borders the area to the south and west. The Stinstedter Randkanal in turn drains into the Elbe-Weser shipping route .
The area has been a nature reserve since July 16, 1984. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Cuxhaven.
