The Höveltangesche Mörte is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Neulehe in the Emsland district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG WE 194 is 43  hectares in size. It lies south of Neulehe and borders the coastal channel in the south .

The nature reserve protects the remainder of a drained raised bog that has been altered by manual peat digging. The moor area is u. a. with birch bog woodland , heathland and moor grass overgrown. Common heather and dry sand grass can be found on areas in the nature reserve that were previously used as rinsing fields .

The area is drained via ditches leading to the coastal canal or tributary waters.

The area has been a nature reserve since February 4, 1989. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Emsland.
