The Oewest is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony town of Haselünne in the Emsland district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG WE 153 is 15.2  hectares in size. It is located northwest of Haselünne and protects a small raised bog area. The moor area is predominantly overgrown with broken forest. In the southeast of the moor there are two small ponds .

The area has been a nature reserve since November 17, 1984. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Emsland.
