The nature reserve Auf Troendoj is located in the northern part of the city of Haselünne in the Emsland district in Lower Saxony . It belongs to the natural region of Dümmer-Geestniederung and Ems-Hunte Geest .
Nature reserve
The nature reserve was first placed under nature protection on July 9, 1984. The current Protected Area Ordinance, issued by the Emsland district, dated October 1, 2009. The protected area bears the statistical code NSG WE 151 and covers an area of 4.9 hectares .
nature and landscape
The nature reserve is a Schlatt , it consists of a flat blow-out trough in which a tiny bog has formed. The area is divided by a dam, but the larger section has well-developed raised bog vegetation. Bell heather has spread on the dam itself .
Other categories of protection
The nature reserve is also designated as FFH area 155 "Stadtveen, Kesselmoor, Süd-Tannenmoor", as it has the following habitat types that are worthy of protection: dystrophic bodies of water, damp heaths in the North Atlantic area, transitional and swinging grass bogs, peat bog ravines and bog forest.
