The Rühler Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon town of Meppen and the communities of Geeste and Twist in the Emsland district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG WE 256 is approximately 708  hectares . It has been under nature protection since September 1, 2007. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Emsland.

The nature reserve is located southwest of Meppen in the international nature park Bourtanger Moor-Bargerveen and is part of the Bourtanger Moor . The area provides a high moor area under protection, which is still a large area at the time of industrially under protection abgetorft was. The peat ends between 2015 and 2023. At several stations along the route, information on the subject of bog, oil and gas production and agriculture is given. The stations on the subjects of "peat formation and mining", "crude oil-natural gas production" and "renaturation" are located in or on the edge of the nature reserve.
