The Neuheeder Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Heede in the municipality of Dörpen in the Emsland district .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG WE 237 is 102 hectares in size. It is located northwest of Heede in the north of the Bourtanger Moor and borders the A 31 in the east .
The reserve puts a raised moor under protection. The moor has been drained and changed by peat digging . Parts of the moorland have been cultivated as grassland , but also as arable land . There are also fallow land and swamp forests .
The area, which over ditches for EMS is drained to the long term rewetted be.
The area has been a nature reserve since March 10, 2001. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Emsland.
