The Bruchwald near Ehrenburg is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Ehrenburg in the combined municipality of Schwaförden in the district of Diepholz .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 122 is 19 hectares in size. The natural forest reserve of the same name forms a 10.7 hectare part of the nature reserve . The area has been a nature reserve since August 27, 1987. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Diepholz.
The nature reserve is located southeast of Twistringen near Ehrenburg. It consists of a quarry forest with alders and ash trees that grow on a mighty fen . In the west of the protected area, there is a wood with near-natural old wood that grows on sandy subsoil. This area is characterized by beech and oak . At the edge there is an old beech avenue.
