The Wachendorfer / Gödestorfer Bruch is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony district of Diepholz .

description

The 195.0 hectare large nature reserve with the license plate number NSG HA 199 is in the range of Syker neighborhoods Wachendorf and Gödestorf , about six kilometers east of the heart of Syke.

It consists of two areas that are not directly connected to each other:

The nature reserve consists primarily of alder- quarry forests and alder- ash forests as well as grassland and arable land . The forest areas are structured differently. They are to be preserved and put in a better condition for nature conservation through rewetting measures . Existing grassland should be expanded as extensively as possible , and arable land should be converted into grassland.

history

By ordinance of September 11, 2000, the “Wachendorfer / Gödestorfer Bruch” area was declared a nature reserve. The district of Diepholz is responsible as the lower nature conservation authority.
