The vineyard near Rühle is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony town of Bodenwerder in the joint municipality of Bodenwerder-Polle in the Holzminden district .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 107 is 13 hectares in size. It is part of the FFH area "Burgberg, Heinsener Klippen, Rühler Schweiz ". The area has been a nature reserve since August 14, 1986. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Holzminden.
The nature reserve is located northeast of Rühle , a district of Bodenwerder, in the west of the Vogler within the Solling-Vogler Nature Park . It places part of the vineyard that historically belonged to the Amelungsborn monastery under protection. This is characterized by a south- exposed dry limestone lawn on shallow shell limestone , which is grazed with sheep for care. Lime beech forests grow adjacent with numerous orchids , which still have coppice character on the ridge and on the northern slope of the vineyard . In the south of the area there is a fruit tree meadow.
On the vineyard there is a monument in honor of Duke Wilhelm of Brunswick . Parts of the nature reserve can be experienced along an approximately two-kilometer circular hiking trail.
