The Ahlewiesen are a nature reserve in the districts of Northeim and Holzminden .

These are the meadows and the alder fringes on the upper reaches and in the source area of ​​the Ahle brook and its tributaries in the Solling . It is bordered by forest areas with oak and beech trees. The protected areas are located south of Neuhaus im Solling on federal highway 497 .

In the source region of Ahle one is fen . In the crop are Molinia , rushes , Bistort , sedges and reeds remarkable.

The nature reserve is 219 hectares in size. It extends from the Ahlequelle with a section to the north along the Dölme , with a part to the southeast along the Ahle and with a shorter third section to the southwest along the Brömsenbornbach. The protection came into force in 1994.
