The Pöttcher Grund is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Halle in the joint municipality of Bodenwerder-Polle and Dielmissen in the joint municipality of Eschershausen-Stadtoldendorf in the Holzminden district .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG HA 068 is 13.5  hectares in size. It is part of the FFH area “Ith” and the EU bird sanctuary “Sollingvorland”. The " Ith " nature reserve connects to the north . The nature reserve has been a nature reserve since December 31, 1983. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Holzminden.

The nature reserve is located north of Dielmissen on the southwest slope of the Ith . It places a sharply cut brook valley and part of the subsequent natural stream course under protection. The stream is accompanied by trees. A natural alder - ash forest grows in the lower area of ​​the nature reserve . In this area there is also an old clay pit , which has developed into a wetland with water surfaces, including two ponds created by the Naturschutzbund Deutschland .

In the upper area there is a strip of grassland that is used as pasture within the nature reserve. The nature reserve is mainly surrounded by arable land.

A 6-hectare sub-area of ​​the nature reserve has belonged to the Naturschutzbund Deutschland since September 12, 1979.
