The Hohenbüchen amphibious biotopes are a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon community of Delligsen in the Holzminden district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 106 is 6.4  hectares in size. It has been a nature reserve since July 31, 1986. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Holzminden.

The area is located south of Hohenbüchen in a clay mining area and is a former clay pit under protection. This has partnered with an amphibian biotope converted former arable land east of the former clay pit to a secondary biotope develops.

The former clay pit is characterized by a small-scale changing mosaic of different biotopes . So here are partly dry falling ponds, half-bog areas with Bruchwald character, small, natural deciduous forest to find stocks, vegetation-free areas and a demolition embankment.

The created amphibian biotope east of the former clay pit is characterized by flat, sunny ponds and low vegetation structures or areas free of vegetation. Here comes u. a. the yellow-bellied toad in a small population. In order to counteract the increasing encroachment of the area, a large part of the created amphibian biotope is grazed with Galloway cattle.
