The Stuckenstein oaks are a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon town of Holzminden in the Holzminden district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 131 is 20  hectares in size. It is located south of Holzminden in the northwest of the Solling within the Solling-Vogler Nature Park and protects an oak - beech tree that was created as a hut forest . The area is characterized by a high proportion of old and dead wood .

In the southern area of the nature reserve, the earlier use as a hut forest can still be clearly seen. This area is characterized by old oaks, on which the old plant grid can still be read. The natural development to the grove beech forest , which began after the end of the use of the hat, was prevented by the removal of the beech. This area should remain recognizable as the former Hutewald.

In the area of the nature reserve to the north, after the end of forestry use in the first half of the 20th century, a grove beech forest developed. This is left to its natural development.

The area has been a nature reserve since May 19, 1988. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Holzminden.
