The Alhuser Ahe is a nature reserve in Hassel (Weser) , integrated municipality of Grafschaft Hoya ( district of Nienburg / Weser , Lower Saxony ).
description
The Alhuser Ahe is a 22 hectare alluvial forest between Hassel and Hoya in the Weser - Aller flat area east of the Weser. In the nature reserve with the registration number NSG HA 010, an old, structurally rich hardwood alluvial forest grows . It is mainly taken by English oak and field maple . In the herbaceous layer , which is often lushly developed , the hollow lark spur dominates , which blooms in large carpets of plants in white and purple at the end of March / beginning of April. Numerous other plant species can be found on the nutrient-rich, moderately moist site and offer a very attractive landscape, especially in spring.
The nature reserve can be accessed on non-closed paths.
history
By ordinance of July 26, 1939, the "Alhuser Ahe" area in what was then the county of Hoya was declared a nature reserve.
