The Hahnenkamp is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony towns of Sehnde and Lehrte in the Hanover region .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 133 is 46  hectares in size. It is congruent with the FFH area of the same name . The area has been a nature reserve since June 29, 1988. The lower responsible nature conservation authority is the Hanover region.

The nature reserve is located southeast of Lehrte and northeast of Sehnde in the lowlands of the Ritterbach and Billerbach. It is predominantly characterized by species-rich wet grassland. In addition, wet bushes and smaller individual find pools with water vapors , reed canary grass - and reed reeds . The grassland areas are often of extended Hochstaudenfluren surrounded. Small areas are as a special plant communities of lime whistle grass meadow and the Burnet - Ross fennel meadow with many extremely rare species to be found.

Parts of the reserve are farmland used structurally, more faces are broke .
