In the Kingdom of Heaven is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony city ​​of Lehrte in the Hanover region .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 045 is 9  hectares in size. It is bordered to the north and west by the conservation area "Upper Burgdorfer Aue". The area has been a nature reserve since November 9, 1956. The lower responsible nature conservation authority is the Hanover region.

The nature reserve is located east of Lehrte and is protecting a richly structured oak and hornbeam forest that has developed on the rugged terrain of a former mining area. The forest is surrounded by a fringe rich in species , in addition to which there are bushes with hazel , sloe and hawthorn as well as willow bushes in wet depressions . In the south part of a lake is included in the protected area. In places, wet grassland has developed.

The area borders in the south on the Burgdorfer Aue and the Berlin – Lehrte railway line , in the east on a public road.
