The Wehmholz is under nature conservation standing, small wooded area in the Lower Saxon community Sarstedt in Hildesheim .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 138 is 16.5  hectares in size. It lies to the east of the Sarstedt district of Heisede and protects the forest area as an island biotope in the middle of an intensely agricultural landscape. In some areas, the forest shows the remains of a near-natural, mostly moist oak-hornbeam forest .

The area has been a nature reserve since July 13, 1989. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Hildesheim district.
