The Gronauer Masch is a nature reserve in the small town of Gronau (Leine) in Lower Saxony in the Hildesheim district .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 093 is 32 hectares in size. It is completely the same conservation area surrounded by it with the little nature reserve north past " Leineaue under the Rammelsberg is networked." The area has been a nature reserve since February 13, 1986. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Hildesheim district.
The nature reserve is located north of Gronau (Leine) in a former clay mining area in the lowlands of the leash and is abandoned lagoons protected. The area is surrounded by a juxtaposition of ponds, Verlandungs zones and reed zones and subsequent wet meadows dominated. The area is an important breeding, resting and wintering biotope for water birds and, in connection with the Leineaue, is the habitat of a species-rich avifauna .
In the north of the nature reserve there is an observation tower from which the area can be viewed.
