The Brundorfer Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Schwanewede in the Osterholz district .

The nature reserve is approximately 11.2  hectares . It is congruent with the FFH area of the same name . To the north it borders on the landscape protection area "Schmidts Kiefern und Heidhof ". The area has been under nature protection since March 7, 2019. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Osterholz.

The nature reserve is located northeast of Schwanewede on the edge of an extensive forest area. It also puts a forested area under protection, in which two Moorschlatts are embedded. The forest surrounding the Moorschlatts is made up of birch and pine quarry forest , mixed oak forest, and pine and coniferous forests, which are mainly used for forestry purposes.

The two Moorschlatts have changed due to earlier drainage and peat removal , but were then able to regenerate themselves extremely well and are close to nature. You have cotton grass and peat moss swinging lawn . On the western of the two Schlatts with a small Kolk are Bult-Schlenken contractors trained. It is surrounded by swamp forest, in which there are small hand peat cuttings that have been completely regenerated. The eastern of the two Schlatts has bog ravines. Bog and swamp heather with bell heather border the Schlatt .

The Moorschlatts in the nature reserve are the habitat of rare moor vegetation. Different dragonflies are native here, including the great moss damsel and the scarlet dragonfly .

The nature reserve is managed by the ecological station of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Biologische Station Osterholz e. V. (BioS). It is bounded in the north by a path, which is followed by other forest communities as well as to the east. The nature reserve borders on agricultural land to the south and west .
