The Ehbläcksmoor is a nature reserve with the registration number NSG LÜ 035 in the area of ​​the city of Soltau in the Heidekreis district in Lower Saxony .

description

The 39.7  hectare Ehbläcksmoor is located in the Deimern district of Soltau . The Great Aue flows through it .

The nature reserve is a large bog with moor lilies and peat moss . Adjacent is a sandy- gravel moraine ridge with attached dunes . In the east of the moor there is a quarry forest and grassland , in the west bell-heather moor, pipe grass , sand heather and finally a pine forest . In order to preserve the valuable vegetation, it is necessary to remove the emerging trees. The Ehbläcksmoor is also a bird sanctuary .

history

By ordinance of September 8, 1977, the Ehbläcksmoor was declared a nature reserve. The district of Heidekreis is responsible as the lower nature conservation authority.
