description

The Tietlinger juniper grove extends on a hilly slope that slopes down about 15 meters to the narrow valley meadows of the Bohemian Valley . The final resting place for the presumed remains of the poet, which were transferred from France to Germany in 1934, was donated by Wilhelm Asche and established in 1935. It is marked by a large boulder on the former border between Walsrode and the municipality of Bomlitz . A monument to Hermann Löns is located a few hundred meters to the southwest on a hilltop near the tracks of the Heidebahn . The heather area is a popular excursion destination and has numerous paths through it ( see also: map ).

On the boulder at Lönsgrab, a wolf's angel is engraved under the name , with which Löns occasionally stylized his initials (LH).
