The Goosemoor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Winsen (Aller) in the district of Celle .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 102 is 44 hectares in size. It is located north of Winsen (Aller) and protects a small, former raised bog area, which is located in an extensive coniferous forest area. In the area, slope water or groundwater comes to light, so that a bog could form. This has been drained and largely dismantled in the past.
In damp locations and in water-filled former peat cuttings , raised bog vegetation can thrive. There are also areas with bog heather . The birch and pine trees that settle there have to be pushed back regularly by decussing measures so that they do not displace the typical bog plants. Parts of the nature reserve are covered with forest and are used for forestry .
A source brook of the Igerbach rises in the nature reserve, which flows into the Aller north of Hornbostel as Allerplackgraben .
The area has been a nature reserve since October 2, 1984. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Celle.
