The Johanneser Bergwiesen are a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon mountain town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld (districts of Zellerfeld and Wildemann ) in the district of Goslar .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG BR 111 is 12  hectares in size. It is located south-east of Wildemann in the Harz Nature Park and protects the meadow complex of the former Johannes Kurhaus near the Sachsen Schacht house , which is characterized by the heather grass typical of the Harz region . The meadows, which are located on a slightly north-sloping plateau on the Hohe Berg and are surrounded by forest, are the result of extensive agricultural use. Today they are used as single montane hay meadows and provide a habitat for numerous plants in need of protection, including bearwort , common goldenrod and meadow bellflower . The meadows are u. a. also habitat for ground-breeding birds .

Two paths bordered by maple and linden trees run through the nature reserve and can be used.

The area has been a nature reserve since April 3, 1991. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Goslar.
