The Hollener Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Saterland in the district of Cloppenburg .
The nature reserve with the registration number NSG WE 161 is 60 hectares in size. It has been a nature reserve since August 3, 1985. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Cloppenburg.
The nature reserve is located northeast of the Saterlander district Scharrel in the lowlands between Ems and Soeste . It places a small remnant of the former Easter bog under protection, which has been partially peated but not cultivated high bogs . In the protected area, moor forests are partially growing . Former peat cuttings have often been full of water.
The protected area is largely surrounded by agricultural land . In the west it borders on small forest parcels.
