The Feldungelsee is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Bramsche in the district of Osnabrück .
The nature reserve with the registration number NSG WE 004 is 5.1 hectares in size. It is located east of the Bramsch district of Lappenstuhl and north of the Mittelland Canal and places the “Feldungel” lake and the adjacent bank under protection. The lake was created by several sinkholes . It is surrounded by bushes of willow and buckthorn trees, as well as alder forests and reeds . Large populations of water lilies grow in open water .
The area has been a nature reserve since May 22, 1932. It was initially under protection under the Field and Forest Police Act, which was transferred to the Reich Nature Conservation Act in 1937 . The date on which the regulation came into force was changed to August 7, 1937. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Osnabrück.
