Hellinghausen is a district of the city of Lippstadt in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The place is located west of the core town of Lippstadt on Kreisstraße 42. The Gieseler and Lippe rivers flow to the north . The 52.34 ha large nature reserve Großes Holz extends southeast .
Only the gatehouse is left of the Hellinghausen Castle. The manor house of the barons of Schorlemer , a two-wing baroque building, was demolished after a fire in 1848.
